The deadline for the transition of CE marked goods to the UKCA mark is extended
On August 24, the Government of the United Kingdom announced that the date of recognition of the CE mark in Great Britain has been postponed. The transition period to the UKCA label on the UK market is extended until 1 January 2023.
This extension allows manufacturers to properly prepare for the transition to labeling their products with the UKCA label.
The UKCA label can already be marketed in the UK, and the UK Government is urging the company to start using it as soon as possible, as it becomes a mandatory requirement in the UK from 1 January 2023.

BM Certification has started the UKAS accreditation process so that at the end of this year, we hope we can offer our customers not only certification that allows them to market their products in the European market, but also mark it with the UKCA label for sale in the UK.
